The venue houses works by more than <strong>60 artists from 38 countries<\/strong>, including renowned Brazilian artists like Tunga, Adriana Varej\u00e3o, and Cildo Meireles, as well as international icons like Yayoi Kusama and Jorge Macchi. Walking all three routes in full means covering nearly 15 miles (25 km)! To avoid walking that entire distance, you can purchase a wristband for the internal shuttle system, making it much easier to get around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It works just like a bus service: there are dedicated stops marked on the map that take you from one attraction to another. While it\u2019s not super cheap, it\u2019s a great option if you want to <strong>optimize your time<\/strong>, have mobility challenges, or simply don't feel like doing that much walking!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, if you enjoy walking and plan to stick to the central areas near the lakes and the Yellow route without trekking to the distant attractions, you might not need it. Keep in mind that you still won't be able to see every single installation!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I decided to spend two full days at Inhotim to make the most of it. We arrived early in the morning and stayed until closing time. On our first day, a Wednesday, which is free admission day, it was packed! We chose to use the shuttle service that day to prioritize the hardest-to-reach artworks, which ended up being less crowded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following day, we walked around at a relaxed pace, catching up on the sights we had missed. It was a completely different experience with fewer crowds! Be sure to pack a swimsuit!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dining options: Inhotim features two full-service restaurants as well as burger spots and caf\u00e9s. There are plenty of choices, so no need to worry! We ended up having the buffet at Oiticica on both days because we loved the food quality and reasonable prices. You can also bring snacks for a picnic on the grass\u2014just remember to pack out your trash!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Don't rush!<\/strong> Despite its vast size and endless art, Inhotim is first and foremost a place to savor slowly. Take your time to enjoy the natural beauty and landscape. Even if you aren't a big fan of traditional museums, give Inhotim a chance. <strong>Unlike standard galleries<\/strong>, Inhotim is an immersive experience where you can reflect, marvel, and connect with nature at your own pace!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Onde_fica_e_onde_se_hospedar\"><\/span>Where is the museu and where to stay<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inhotim is located in the town of Brumadinho, about 37 miles (60 km) from Belo Horizonte and 75 miles (120 km) from Ouro Preto. While a day trip from Belo Horizonte is doable, staying at least one night in Brumadinho is highly recommended if you plan to visit the park over two consecutive days. Having a quiet, comfortable place nearby to unwind after a full day exploring was fantastic!
